Terms
Showhy service terms
Last updated: 6 July 2026
Important: These are clear starter terms for a pre-launch service. Have them reviewed and adapted before accepting paid work, especially once your pricing, legal structure, scope and launch procedures are finalised.
How the service begins
Showhy may undertake initial research, strategy and a first-page direction before requesting payment for a full website build. The precise scope of any free or pre-payment work is at Showhy’s discretion and will be explained by email.
Paid project agreement
Before a paid build begins, Showhy will confirm the agreed project scope, the project fee, what materials are needed, the planned stages and the expected launch route by email. A paid project begins only after that written confirmation and payment request.
The Showhy Promise
If a client pays the agreed Showhy project fee and, before the website goes live, decides not to proceed, Showhy will refund 100% of the Showhy project fee. This does not cover optional third-party services or purchases made in the client’s own name, including domains, email services, paid fonts, stock imagery or software subscriptions.
Client materials and approvals
The client is responsible for ensuring they have the right to use any logos, photography, text, customer testimonials, brand assets and other materials they provide. The client should review and approve content before launch.
No guaranteed commercial outcome
Showhy designs websites to improve clarity, trust, customer understanding and the path to enquiry. We do not guarantee a specific volume of traffic, leads, sales or rankings, because these outcomes depend on factors outside the website.
Ownership and third-party services
Where agreed, the client will own the final website files and the accounts purchased in their own name. Ongoing hosting, domains, email, analytics or paid third-party tools may involve separate costs.
