TERMS OF USE
Simple terms, clearly stated.
Important: this is a practical starter template, not legal advice. Before publishing, replace the bracketed business details and have the final project terms checked for your real payment schedule, revision process, cancellation terms, intellectual-property arrangements and legal structure.

About this website
This website is operated by [legal name / business name], trading as Showhy. It describes an independent website and message-direction service. It is for general information and an invitation to start a conversation. It does not create a contract by itself.
The Showhy first direction
Showhy may, at its discretion, prepare a short early observation or first-page direction before a full project is agreed. This is designed to help both sides decide whether there is a useful fit. It is not a commitment to provide a complete website, unlimited revisions, a complete strategy or any other unpaid work.
Project proposals and payment
Any paid work begins only when the scope, deliverables, price, payment schedule, timetable, responsibilities and ownership arrangements have been confirmed in writing. A proposal may expire if it is not accepted within the stated period.
Client responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate information, confirming that you have the rights to use any content, images, reviews, testimonials, trademarks or materials you supply, and reviewing work promptly at agreed stages. You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of your business claims and regulated information.
Results and examples
Showhy does not promise a particular number of leads, sales, rankings, enquiries or business outcomes. A website is one part of a wider customer journey. Any examples, results or testimonials shown will be identified as illustrative or real, as appropriate.
Ownership and third-party services
The final written scope will explain what is handed over and when. Domains, hosting, software, stock assets, fonts, plugins and external platforms may be subject to their own fees and licence terms. Where practical, Showhy aims to keep the client in control of the domain, accounts and deliverable files.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, details of any applicable liability limits, warranties and exclusions will be set out in the written project agreement.
